7th Annual Bowl-a-thon
The Hope for Autism Foundation is putting together their 7th annual bowling event Saturday, April 20th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Wonderland Lanes in Commerce. The cost to join is $25.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids under 5. Bowling, shoes, pizza, pop, and a raffle ticket will all be included with a purchase. Outdoor Adventure Center
The DNR Outdoor Adventure Center in Detroit will be creating a sensory friendly environment for all ages to enjoy a quieter than normal experience with their family. There will be fun hands-on activities available in addition to fishing and hiking. The event takes place from 10:00am – 11:30am April 21st. Here is a link for more information: Outdoor Adventure

Impression 5 Science Center
Mid-Michigan Autism Association will also be hosting a sensory friendly night from 5:30pm – 7:00pm on April 21st. Impression 5 Science Center is located in Lansing and is closing down to the public to allow individuals with autism spectrum disorders to enjoy a quieter atmosphere. Greenfield Village
This event is designed for individuals on the autism spectrum and provide accommodations and special activities to create an inclusive environment for all. Thomas the train will also be making an appearance for all the train lovers out there. This event will be from open to close on May 5th.
